It starts with
understanding
the story.
Before I pick up a camera, I want to understand who I'm creating for and what they want people to know. From there, I take the project from concept through production and final delivery.

From Then To Now gave me the opportunity to learn the stories behind six businesses, institutions, and destinations that have helped shape the Capital Region. My goal was to look beyond what each organization does and focus on the people, history, and values that have allowed them to grow and remain part of their communities for generations.
Throughout the special, I wanted to show how these organizations have done more than serve customers. They have created jobs, strengthened communities, preserved traditions, and helped write the story of the Capital Region itself.
I produced the special from its early planning and research through filming, editing, and final delivery.

Every client needs
a different approach.
Working with businesses across different industries has taught me that there isn't one formula for creating a good commercial. I take the time to understand the client, what they want people to know, and who they're trying to reach before figuring out the best way to bring that message to life.

The goal of this commercial was to show the luxury experience that comes with staying at The Adelphi Hotel in Saratoga Springs, from the atmosphere of the hotel to the experience guests can expect when they stay there.

This commercial was created to announce the winners of Destination Kia's Charity Challenge, which gave $20,000 in donations to local charities, schools and organizations. It also gave owners Megan and James the opportunity to thank everyone in the community who participated.

This commercial was created to show the quality and experience customers can expect when visiting Albany Best Tile, while highlighting the different products and design options available throughout their showroom.

The goal of this commercial was pretty simple: show people the food. Meat & Company is a local family owned restaurant known for slow cooked meats and some wild sandwich combinations, so the commercial was built around showing what they make and giving people a reason to come try it.

The Costumer isn't only serving customers in the Capital Region. As one of the leading costume rental businesses in the country, this commercial was created to show the variety they offer and introduce their work to a much larger audience.

For this commercial, I wanted to match the energy and personality of the owner while making the business feel approachable to customers of any age. The result was something more fun and outgoing than a typical home services commercial.
